A flaw was found in linux-pam. The pam_namespace module may improperly handle user-controlled paths, allowing local users to exploit symlink attacks and race conditions to elevate their privileges to root. This CVE provides a "complete" fix for CVE-2025-6020.
CVE-2024-6472 3 Libreoffice, Redhat, The Document Foundation 7 Libreoffice, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2025-12-10 7.8 High
Certificate Validation user interface in LibreOffice allows potential vulnerability. Signed macros are scripts that have been digitally signed by the developer using a cryptographic signature. When a document with a signed macro is opened a warning is displayed by LibreOffice before the macro is executed. Previously if verification failed the user could fail to understand the failure and choose to enable the macros anyway. This issue affects LibreOffice: from 24.2 before 24.2.5.
CVE-2025-1080 3 Debian, Libreoffice, Redhat 8 Debian Linux, Libreoffice, Enterprise Linux and 5 more 2025-12-10 7.8 High
LibreOffice supports Office URI Schemes to enable browser integration of LibreOffice with MS SharePoint server. An additional scheme 'vnd.libreoffice.command' specific to LibreOffice was added. In the affected versions of LibreOffice a link in a browser using that scheme could be constructed with an embedded inner URL that when passed to LibreOffice could call internal macros with arbitrary arguments. This issue affects LibreOffice: from 24.8 before < 24.8.5, from 25.2 before < 25.2.1.
CVE-2020-8597 5 Canonical, Debian, Point-to-point Protocol Project and 2 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Point-to-point Protocol and 5 more 2025-12-03 9.8 Critical
eap.c in pppd in ppp 2.4.2 through 2.4.8 has an rhostname buffer overflow in the eap_request and eap_response functions.
CVE-2023-3341 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 1 more 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Bind and 6 more 2025-12-02 7.5 High
The code that processes control channel messages sent to `named` calls certain functions recursively during packet parsing. Recursion depth is only limited by the maximum accepted packet size; depending on the environment, this may cause the packet-parsing code to run out of available stack memory, causing `named` to terminate unexpectedly. Since each incoming control channel message is fully parsed before its contents are authenticated, exploiting this flaw does not require the attacker to hold a valid RNDC key; only network access to the control channel's configured TCP port is necessary. This issue affects BIND 9 versions 9.2.0 through 9.16.43, 9.18.0 through 9.18.18, 9.19.0 through 9.19.16, 9.9.3-S1 through 9.16.43-S1, and 9.18.0-S1 through 9.18.18-S1.
CVE-2025-32989 2 Gnu, Redhat 9 Gnutls, Ceph Storage, Discovery and 6 more 2025-12-01 5.3 Medium
A heap-buffer-overread vulnerability was found in GnuTLS in how it handles the Certificate Transparency (CT) Signed Certificate Timestamp (SCT) extension during X.509 certificate parsing. This flaw allows a malicious user to create a certificate containing a malformed SCT extension (OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.11129.2.4.2) that contains sensitive data. This issue leads to the exposure of confidential information when GnuTLS verifies certificates from certain websites when the certificate (SCT) is not checked correctly.
CVE-2024-39936 2 Qt, Redhat 7 Qt, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2025-11-29 8.6 High
An issue was discovered in HTTP2 in Qt before 5.15.18, 6.x before 6.2.13, 6.3.x through 6.5.x before 6.5.7, and 6.6.x through 6.7.x before 6.7.3. Code to make security-relevant decisions about an established connection may execute too early, because the encrypted() signal has not yet been emitted and processed..
CVE-2024-48949 2 Indutny, Redhat 7 Elliptic, Acm, Multicluster Engine and 4 more 2025-11-25 9.1 Critical
The verify function in lib/elliptic/eddsa/index.js in the Elliptic package before 6.5.6 for Node.js omits "sig.S().gte(sig.eddsa.curve.n) || sig.S().isNeg()" validation.
CVE-2025-4945 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2025-11-25 3.7 Low
A flaw was found in the cookie parsing logic of the libsoup HTTP library, used in GNOME applications and other software. The vulnerability arises when processing the expiration date of cookies, where a specially crafted value can trigger an integer overflow. This may result in undefined behavior, allowing an attacker to bypass cookie expiration logic, causing persistent or unintended cookie behavior. The issue stems from improper validation of large integer inputs during date arithmetic operations within the cookie parsing routines.
CVE-2025-11021 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2025-11-25 7.5 High
A flaw was found in the cookie date handling logic of the libsoup HTTP library, widely used by GNOME and other applications for web communication. When processing cookies with specially crafted expiration dates, the library may perform an out-of-bounds memory read. This flaw could result in unintended disclosure of memory contents, potentially exposing sensitive information from the process using libsoup.
CVE-2023-41419 2 Gevent, Redhat 7 Gevent, Enterprise Linux, Openstack and 4 more 2025-11-25 9.8 Critical
An issue in Gevent before version 23.9.0 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via a crafted script to the WSGIServer component.
CVE-2025-0624 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2025-11-24 7.6 High
A flaw was found in grub2. During the network boot process, when trying to search for the configuration file, grub copies data from a user controlled environment variable into an internal buffer using the grub_strcpy() function. During this step, it fails to consider the environment variable length when allocating the internal buffer, resulting in an out-of-bounds write. If correctly exploited, this issue may result in remote code execution through the same network segment grub is searching for the boot information, which can be used to by-pass secure boot protections.
CVE-2025-1244 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Openshift Builds, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2025-11-24 8.8 High
A command injection flaw was found in the text editor Emacs. It could allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on a vulnerable system. Exploitation is possible by tricking users into visiting a specially crafted website or an HTTP URL with a redirect.
CVE-2023-29479 2 Redhat, Ribose 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more 2025-11-21 5.3 Medium
Ribose RNP before 0.16.3 may hang when the input is malformed.
CVE-2023-22745 2 Redhat, Tpm2 Software Stack Project 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more 2025-11-21 6.4 Medium
tpm2-tss is an open source software implementation of the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2 Software Stack (TSS2). In versions prior to 4.1.0-rc0, 4.0.1, and 3.2.2-rc1, `Tss2_RC_SetHandler` and `Tss2_RC_Decode` both index into `layer_handler` with an 8 bit layer number, but the array only has `TPM2_ERROR_TSS2_RC_LAYER_COUNT` entries, so trying to add a handler for higher-numbered layers or decode a response code with such a layer number reads/writes past the end of the buffer. This Buffer overrun, could result in arbitrary code execution. An example attack would be a MiTM bus attack that returns 0xFFFFFFFF for the RC. Given the common use case of TPM modules an attacker must have local access to the target machine with local system privileges which allows access to the TPM system. Usually TPM access requires administrative privilege. Versions 4.1.0-rc0, 4.0.1, and 3.2.2-rc1 fix the issue.
CVE-2025-5024 1 Redhat 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more 2025-11-20 7.4 High
A flaw was found in gnome-remote-desktop. Once gnome-remote-desktop listens for RDP connections, an unauthenticated attacker can exhaust system resources and repeatedly crash the process. There may be a resource leak after many attacks, which will also result in gnome-remote-desktop no longer being able to open files even after it is restarted via systemd.
CVE-2023-40551 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat 7 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more 2025-11-20 5.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the MZ binary format in Shim. An out-of-bounds read may occur, leading to a crash or possible exposure of sensitive data during the system's boot phase.
