CVE-2020-27821 | 3 Debian, Qemu, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Qemu, Advanced Virtualization and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.0 Medium |
A flaw was found in the memory management API of QEMU during the initialization of a memory region cache. This issue could lead to an out-of-bounds write access to the MSI-X table while performing MMIO operations. A guest user may abuse this flaw to crash the QEMU process on the host, resulting in a denial of service. This flaw affects QEMU versions prior to 5.2.0.
CVE-2020-27820 | 4 Fedoraproject, Linux, Oracle and 1 more | 6 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Communications Cloud Native Core Binding Support Function and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.7 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in Linux kernel, where a use-after-frees in nouveau's postclose() handler could happen if removing device (that is not common to remove video card physically without power-off, but same happens if "unbind" the driver).
CVE-2020-27814 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Uclouvain | 3 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Openjpeg | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
A heap-buffer overflow was found in the way openjpeg2 handled certain PNG format files. An attacker could use this flaw to cause an application crash or in some cases execute arbitrary code with the permission of the user running such an application.
CVE-2020-27786 | 3 Linux, Netapp, Redhat | 6 Linux Kernel, Cloud Backup, Solidfire Baseboard Management Controller and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s implementation of MIDI, where an attacker with a local account and the permissions to issue ioctl commands to midi devices could trigger a use-after-free issue. A write to this specific memory while freed and before use causes the flow of execution to change and possibly allow for memory corruption or privilege escalation. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality, integrity, as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-27783 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Lxml and 3 more | 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Lxml and 6 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
A XSS vulnerability was discovered in python-lxml's clean module. The module's parser didn't properly imitate browsers, which caused different behaviors between the sanitizer and the user's page. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw to run arbitrary HTML/JS code.
CVE-2020-27779 | 4 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more | 12 Fedora, Grub2, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 9 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in grub2 in versions prior to 2.06. The cutmem command does not honor secure boot locking allowing an privileged attacker to remove address ranges from memory creating an opportunity to circumvent SecureBoot protections after proper triage about grub's memory layout. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-27778 | 3 Debian, Freedesktop, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Poppler, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in Poppler in the way certain PDF files were converted into HTML. A remote attacker could exploit this flaw by providing a malicious PDF file that, when processed by the 'pdftohtml' program, would crash the application causing a denial of service.
CVE-2020-27777 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Openshift Container Platform | 2024-11-21 | 6.7 Medium |
A flaw was found in the way RTAS handled memory accesses in userspace to kernel communication. On a locked down (usually due to Secure Boot) guest system running on top of PowerVM or KVM hypervisors (pseries platform) a root like local user could use this flaw to further increase their privileges to that of a running kernel.
CVE-2020-27776 | 2 Imagemagick, Redhat | 2 Imagemagick, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 3.3 Low |
A flaw was found in ImageMagick in MagickCore/statistic.c. An attacker who submits a crafted file that is processed by ImageMagick could trigger undefined behavior in the form of values outside the range of type unsigned long. This would most likely lead to an impact to application availability, but could potentially cause other problems related to undefined behavior. This flaw affects ImageMagick versions prior to 7.0.9-0.
CVE-2020-27775 | 3 Debian, Imagemagick, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Imagemagick, Enterprise Linux | 2024-11-21 | 3.3 Low |
