CVE-2005-3186 3 Gnome, Gtk, Redhat 3 Gdkpixbuf, Gtk\+, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-16 N/A
Integer overflow in the GTK+ gdk-pixbuf XPM image rendering library in GTK+ 2.4.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via an XPM file with a number of colors that causes insufficient memory to be allocated, which leads to a heap-based buffer overflow.
CVE-2005-0023 1 Gnome 2 Libvte4, Libzvt2 2026-04-16 N/A
gnome-pty-helper in GNOME libzvt2 and libvte4 allows local users to spoof the logon hostname via a modified DISPLAY environment variable. NOTE: the severity of this issue has been disputed.
CVE-2005-2549 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Evolution, Enterprise Linux 2026-04-16 N/A
Multiple format string vulnerabilities in Evolution 1.5 through 2.3.6.1 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via (1) full vCard data, (2) contact data from remote LDAP servers, or (3) task list data from remote servers.
CVE-2003-0407 1 Gnome 1 Batalla Naval 2026-04-16 N/A
Buffer overflow in gbnserver for Gnome Batalla Naval 1.0.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a long connection string.
CVE-2003-0793 1 Gnome 1 Gdm 2026-04-16 N/A
GDM 2.4.4.x before 2.4.4.4, and 2.4.1.x before 2.4.1.7, does not restrict the size of input, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption).
CVE-2003-0549 2 Gnome, Redhat 5 Gdm, Enterprise Linux, Kdebase and 2 more 2026-04-16 N/A
The X Display Manager Control Protocol (XDMCP) support for GDM before 2.4.1.6 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) via a short authorization key name.
CVE-2000-0948 1 Gnome 1 Gnorpm 2026-04-16 N/A
GnoRPM before 0.95 allows local users to modify arbitrary files via a symlink attack.
CVE-2006-0820 1 Gnome 1 Dwarf Http Server 2026-04-16 N/A
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Dwarf HTTP Server 1.3.2 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via unspecified error messages.
CVE-2025-11687 1 Gnome 1 Gi-docgen 2026-04-15 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the gi-docgen. This vulnerability allows arbitrary JavaScript execution in the context of the page — enabling DOM access, session cookie theft and other client-side attacks — via a crafted URL that supplies a malicious value to the q GET parameter (reflected DOM XSS).
CVE-2025-8732 1 Gnome 1 Libxml2 2026-04-15 3.3 Low
A vulnerability was found in libxml2 up to 2.14.5. It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function xmlParseSGMLCatalog of the component xmlcatalog. The manipulation leads to uncontrolled recursion. Attacking locally is a requirement. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The real existence of this vulnerability is still doubted at the moment. The code maintainer explains, that "[t]he issue can only be triggered with untrusted SGML catalogs and it makes absolutely no sense to use untrusted catalogs. I also doubt that anyone is still using SGML catalogs at all."
CVE-2025-3839 1 Gnome 1 Epiphany 2026-04-15 8 High
A flaw was found in Epiphany, a tool that allows websites to open external URL handler applications with minimal user interaction. This design can be misused to exploit vulnerabilities within those handlers, making them appear remotely exploitable. The browser fails to properly warn or gate this action, resulting in potential code execution on the client device via trusted UI behavior.
CVE-2020-37011 1 Gnome 2 Fonts Viewer, Gnome-font-viewer 2026-04-15 7.5 High
Gnome Fonts Viewer 3.34.0 contains a heap corruption vulnerability that allows attackers to trigger an out-of-bounds write by crafting a malicious TTF font file. Attackers can generate a specially crafted TTF file with an oversized pattern to cause an infinite malloc() loop and potentially crash the gnome-font-viewer process.
CVE-2026-2574 1 Gnome 1 Glib-networking 2026-02-17 5.4 Medium
A flaw was found in glib-networking. A malicious Transport Layer Security (TLS) server can exploit an out-of-bounds read and invalid free vulnerability when a client using the OpenSSL backend connects. By advertising a specially crafted client-CA list, the server can trigger an issue where memory is accessed outside of its allocated buffer and subsequently freed incorrectly. This can lead to a denial-of-service and potentially disclose limited heap memory.
CVE-2026-2604 1 Gnome 1 Evolution-data-server 2026-02-17 5.6 Medium
No description is available for this CVE.
CVE-2025-4056 3 Gnome, Microsoft, Redhat 3 Glib, Windows, Enterprise Linux 2026-01-08 7.5 High
A flaw was found in GLib. A denial of service on Windows platforms may occur if an application attempts to spawn a program using long command lines.
CVE-2023-29499 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Glib, Enterprise Linux 2025-12-18 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in GLib. GVariant deserialization fails to validate that the input conforms to the expected format, leading to denial of service.
CVE-2023-5557 2 Gnome, Redhat 6 Tracker Miners, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more 2025-11-20 7.5 High
A flaw was found in the tracker-miners package. A weakness in the sandbox allows a maliciously-crafted file to execute code outside the sandbox if the tracker-extract process has first been compromised by a separate vulnerability.
CVE-2025-2784 2 Gnome, Redhat 26 Libsoup, Codeready Linux Builder, Codeready Linux Builder For Arm64 and 23 more 2025-11-18 7 High
A flaw was found in libsoup. The package is vulnerable to a heap buffer over-read when sniffing content via the skip_insight_whitespace() function. Libsoup clients may read one byte out-of-bounds in response to a crafted HTTP response by an HTTP server.
CVE-2025-3155 3 Debian, Gnome, Redhat 25 Debian Linux, Yelp, Codeready Linux Builder and 22 more 2025-11-11 7.4 High
A flaw was found in Yelp. The Gnome user help application allows the help document to execute arbitrary scripts. This vulnerability allows malicious users to input help documents, which may exfiltrate user files to an external environment.
CVE-2025-6199 2 Gnome, Redhat 2 Gdkpixbuf, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-07 3.3 Low
A flaw was found in the GIF parser of GdkPixbuf’s LZW decoder. When an invalid symbol is encountered during decompression, the decoder sets the reported output size to the full buffer length rather than the actual number of written bytes. This logic error results in uninitialized sections of the buffer being included in the output, potentially leaking arbitrary memory contents in the processed image.
