CVE-2023-48795 | 43 9bis, Apache, Apple and 40 more | 78 Kitty, Sshd, Sshj and 75 more | 2025-05-14 | 5.9 Medium |
The SSH transport protocol with certain OpenSSH extensions, found in OpenSSH before 9.6 and other products, allows remote attackers to bypass integrity checks such that some packets are omitted (from the extension negotiation message), and a client and server may consequently end up with a connection for which some security features have been downgraded or disabled, aka a Terrapin attack. This occurs because the SSH Binary Packet Protocol (BPP), implemented by these extensions, mishandles the handshake phase and mishandles use of sequence numbers. For example, there is an effective attack against SSH's use of ChaCha20-Poly1305 (and CBC with Encrypt-then-MAC). The bypass occurs in chacha20-poly1305@openssh.com and (if CBC is used) the -etm@openssh.com MAC algorithms. This also affects Maverick Synergy Java SSH API before 3.1.0-SNAPSHOT, Dropbear through 2022.83, Ssh before 5.1.1 in Erlang/OTP, PuTTY before 0.80, AsyncSSH before 2.14.2, golang.org/x/crypto before 0.17.0, libssh before 0.10.6, libssh2 through 1.11.0, Thorn Tech SFTP Gateway before 3.4.6, Tera Term before 5.1, Paramiko before 3.4.0, jsch before 0.2.15, SFTPGo before 2.5.6, Netgate pfSense Plus through 23.09.1, Netgate pfSense CE through 2.7.2, HPN-SSH through 18.2.0, ProFTPD before 1.3.8b (and before 1.3.9rc2), ORYX CycloneSSH before 2.3.4, NetSarang XShell 7 before Build 0144, CrushFTP before 10.6.0, ConnectBot SSH library before 2.2.22, Apache MINA sshd through 2.11.0, sshj through 0.37.0, TinySSH through 20230101, trilead-ssh2 6401, LANCOM LCOS and LANconfig, FileZilla before 3.66.4, Nova before 11.8, PKIX-SSH before 14.4, SecureCRT before 9.4.3, Transmit5 before 5.10.4, Win32-OpenSSH before 9.5.0.0p1-Beta, WinSCP before 6.2.2, Bitvise SSH Server before 9.32, Bitvise SSH Client before 9.33, KiTTY through 0.76.1.13, the net-ssh gem 7.2.0 for Ruby, the mscdex ssh2 module before 1.15.0 for Node.js, the thrussh library before 0.35.1 for Rust, and the Russh crate before 0.40.2 for Rust.
CVE-2024-9355 | 1 Redhat | 22 Amq Streams, Ansible Automation Platform, Container Native Virtualization and 19 more | 2025-05-14 | 6.5 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in Golang FIPS OpenSSL. This flaw allows a malicious user to randomly cause an uninitialized buffer length variable with a zeroed buffer to be returned in FIPS mode. It may also be possible to force a false positive match between non-equal hashes when comparing a trusted computed hmac sum to an untrusted input sum if an attacker can send a zeroed buffer in place of a pre-computed sum. It is also possible to force a derived key to be all zeros instead of an unpredictable value. This may have follow-on implications for the Go TLS stack.
CVE-2024-10306 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services | 2025-05-14 | 5.4 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in mod_proxy_cluster. The issue is that the <Directory> directive should be replaced by the <Location> directive as the former does not restrict IP/host access as `Require ip IP_ADDRESS` would suggest. This means that anyone with access to the host might send MCMP requests that may result in adding/removing/updating nodes for the balancing. However, this host should not be accessible to the public network as it does not serve the general traffic.
CVE-2025-3155 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2025-05-14 | 7.4 High |
A flaw was found in Yelp. The Gnome user help application allows the help document to execute arbitrary scripts. This vulnerability allows malicious users to input help documents, which may exfiltrate user files to an external environment.
CVE-2024-0340 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-05-14 | 4.4 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in vhost_new_msg in drivers/vhost/vhost.c in the Linux kernel, which does not properly initialize memory in messages passed between virtual guests and the host operating system in the vhost/vhost.c:vhost_new_msg() function. This issue can allow local privileged users to read some kernel memory contents when reading from the /dev/vhost-net device file.
CVE-2025-32914 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2025-05-14 | 7.4 High |
A flaw was found in libsoup, where the soup_multipart_new_from_message() function is vulnerable to an out-of-bounds read. This flaw allows a malicious HTTP client to induce the libsoup server to read out of bounds.
CVE-2025-32912 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2025-05-14 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in libsoup, where SoupAuthDigest is vulnerable to a NULL pointer dereference. The HTTP server may cause the libsoup client to crash.
CVE-2025-2784 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2025-05-14 | 7 High |
A flaw was found in libsoup. The package is vulnerable to a heap buffer over-read when sniffing content via the skip_insight_whitespace() function. Libsoup clients may read one byte out-of-bounds in response to a crafted HTTP response by an HTTP server.
CVE-2024-52616 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-05-14 | 5.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Avahi-daemon, where it initializes DNS transaction IDs randomly only once at startup, incrementing them sequentially after that. This predictable behavior facilitates DNS spoofing attacks, allowing attackers to guess transaction IDs.
CVE-2025-46420 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2025-05-13 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in libsoup. It is vulnerable to memory leaks in the soup_header_parse_quality_list() function when parsing a quality list that contains elements with all zeroes.
CVE-2025-32907 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhel E4s, Rhel Eus | 2025-05-13 | 5.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in libsoup. The implementation of HTTP range requests is vulnerable to a resource consumption attack. This flaw allows a malicious client to request the same range many times in a single HTTP request, causing the server to use large amounts of memory. This does not allow for a full denial of service.
CVE-2025-32053 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-05-13 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in libsoup. A vulnerability in sniff_feed_or_html() and skip_insignificant_space() functions may lead to a heap buffer over-read.
CVE-2025-32052 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-05-13 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in libsoup. A vulnerability in the sniff_unknown() function may lead to heap buffer over-read.
CVE-2025-32050 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-05-13 | 5.9 Medium |
A flaw was found in libsoup. The libsoup append_param_quoted() function may contain an overflow bug resulting in a buffer under-read.
CVE-2025-46421 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2025-05-13 | 6.8 Medium |
A flaw was found in libsoup. When libsoup clients encounter an HTTP redirect, they mistakenly send the HTTP Authorization header to the new host that the redirection points to. This allows the new host to impersonate the user to the original host that issued the redirect.
CVE-2024-8176 | 1 Redhat | 8 Devworkspace, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 5 more | 2025-05-13 | 7.5 High |
A stack overflow vulnerability exists in the libexpat library due to the way it handles recursive entity expansion in XML documents. When parsing an XML document with deeply nested entity references, libexpat can be forced to recurse indefinitely, exhausting the stack space and causing a crash. This issue could lead to denial of service (DoS) or, in some cases, exploitable memory corruption, depending on the environment and library usage.
CVE-2025-32908 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2025-05-13 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in libsoup. The HTTP/2 server in libsoup may not fully validate the values of pseudo-headers :scheme, :authority, and :path, which may allow a user to cause a denial of service (DoS).
CVE-2025-32906 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 2 more | 2025-05-13 | 7.5 High |
A flaw was found in libsoup, where the soup_headers_parse_request() function may be vulnerable to an out-of-bound read. This flaw allows a malicious user to use a specially crafted HTTP request to crash the HTTP server.
CVE-2024-12243 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-05-13 | 5.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in GnuTLS, which relies on libtasn1 for ASN.1 data processing. Due to an inefficient algorithm in libtasn1, decoding certain DER-encoded certificate data can take excessive time, leading to increased resource consumption. This flaw allows a remote attacker to send a specially crafted certificate, causing GnuTLS to become unresponsive or slow, resulting in a denial-of-service condition.
CVE-2025-26599 | 3 Redhat, Tigervnc, X.org | 9 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 6 more | 2025-05-13 | 7.8 High |
An access to an uninitialized pointer flaw was found in X.Org and Xwayland. The function compCheckRedirect() may fail if it cannot allocate the backing pixmap. In that case, compRedirectWindow() will return a BadAlloc error without validating the window tree marked just before, which leaves the validated data partly initialized and the use of an uninitialized pointer later. |
