CVE-2024-1753 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Eus | 2025-09-12 | 8.6 High |
A flaw was found in Buildah (and subsequently Podman Build) which allows containers to mount arbitrary locations on the host filesystem into build containers. A malicious Containerfile can use a dummy image with a symbolic link to the root filesystem as a mount source and cause the mount operation to mount the host root filesystem inside the RUN step. The commands inside the RUN step will then have read-write access to the host filesystem, allowing for full container escape at build time.
CVE-2025-3416 | 1 Redhat | 5 Directory Server, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2025-09-12 | 3.7 Low |
A flaw was found in OpenSSL's handling of the properties argument in certain functions. This vulnerability can allow use-after-free exploitation, which may result in undefined behavior or incorrect property parsing, leading to OpenSSL treating the input as an empty string.
CVE-2025-4432 | 1 Redhat | 5 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Satellite and 2 more | 2025-09-12 | 5.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in Rust's Ring package. A panic may be triggered when overflow checking is enabled. In the QUIC protocol, this flaw allows an attacker to induce this panic by sending a specially crafted packet. It will likely occur unintentionally in 1 out of every 2**32 packets sent or received.
CVE-2024-36620 | 2 Mobyproject, Redhat | 2 Moby, Openshift | 2025-09-05 | 6.5 Medium |
moby v25.0.0 - v26.0.2 is vulnerable to NULL Pointer Dereference via daemon/images/image_history.go.
CVE-2025-5915 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 4 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2025-09-04 | 3.9 Low |
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw can lead to a heap buffer over-read due to the size of a filter block potentially exceeding the Lempel-Ziv-Storer-Schieber (LZSS) window. This means the library may attempt to read beyond the allocated memory buffer, which can result in unpredictable program behavior, crashes (denial of service), or the disclosure of sensitive information from adjacent memory regions.
CVE-2025-5918 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 4 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2025-09-04 | 3.9 Low |
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw can be triggered when file streams are piped into bsdtar, potentially allowing for reading past the end of the file. This out-of-bounds read can lead to unintended consequences, including unpredictable program behavior, memory corruption, or a denial-of-service condition.
CVE-2025-5917 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 4 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2025-09-04 | 2.8 Low |
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw involves an 'off-by-one' miscalculation when handling prefixes and suffixes for file names. This can lead to a 1-byte write overflow. While seemingly small, such an overflow can corrupt adjacent memory, leading to unpredictable program behavior, crashes, or in specific circumstances, could be leveraged as a building block for more sophisticated exploitation.
CVE-2025-5916 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 4 Libarchive, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2025-09-04 | 3.9 Low |
A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library. This flaw involves an integer overflow that can be triggered when processing a Web Archive (WARC) file that claims to have more than INT64_MAX - 4 content bytes. An attacker could craft a malicious WARC archive to induce this overflow, potentially leading to unpredictable program behavior, memory corruption, or a denial-of-service condition within applications that process such archives using libarchive.
CVE-2025-8114 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 3 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-09-03 | 4.7 Medium |
A flaw was found in libssh, a library that implements the SSH protocol. When calculating the session ID during the key exchange (KEX) process, an allocation failure in cryptographic functions may lead to a NULL pointer dereference. This issue can cause the client or server to crash.
CVE-2024-6501 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-09-02 | 3.1 Low |
A flaw was found in NetworkManager. When a system running NetworkManager with DEBUG logs enabled and an interface eth1 configured with LLDP enabled, a malicious user could inject a malformed LLDP packet. NetworkManager would crash, leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2024-12401 | 1 Redhat | 8 Cert Manager, Connectivity Link, Cryostat and 5 more | 2025-09-02 | 4.4 Medium |
A flaw was found in the cert-manager package. This flaw allows an attacker who can modify PEM data that the cert-manager reads, for example, in a Secret resource, to use large amounts of CPU in the cert-manager controller pod to effectively create a denial-of-service (DoS) vector for the cert-manager in the cluster.
CVE-2024-11217 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-09-02 | 4.9 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in the OAuth-server. OAuth-server logs the OAuth2 client secret when the logLevel is Debug higher for OIDC/GitHub/GitLab/Google IDPs login options.
CVE-2024-50312 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-08-31 | 5.3 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in GraphQL due to improper access controls on the GraphQL introspection query. This flaw allows unauthorized users to retrieve a comprehensive list of available queries and mutations. Exposure to this flaw increases the attack surface, as it can facilitate the discovery of flaws or errors specific to the application's GraphQL implementation.
CVE-2024-0567 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu and 2 more | 9 Debian Linux, Fedora, Gnutls and 6 more | 2025-08-31 | 7.5 High |
A vulnerability was found in GnuTLS, where a cockpit (which uses gnuTLS) rejects a certificate chain with distributed trust. This issue occurs when validating a certificate chain with cockpit-certificate-ensure. This flaw allows an unauthenticated, remote client or attacker to initiate a denial of service attack.
CVE-2025-5278 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-08-30 | 4.4 Medium |
A flaw was found in GNU Coreutils. The sort utility's begfield() function is vulnerable to a heap buffer under-read. The program may access memory outside the allocated buffer if a user runs a crafted command using the traditional key format. A malicious input could lead to a crash or leak sensitive data.
CVE-2024-7631 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-08-30 | 4.3 Medium |
A flaw was found in the OpenShift Console, an endpoint for plugins to serve resources in multiple languages: /locales/resources.json. This endpoint's lng and ns parameters are used to construct a filepath in pkg/plugins/handlers unsafely.go#L112 Because of this unsafe filepath construction, an authenticated user can manipulate the path to retrieve any JSON files on the console's pod by using sequences of ../ and valid directory paths.
CVE-2024-7079 | 1 Redhat | 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2025-08-30 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was found in the Openshift console. The /API/helm/verify endpoint is tasked to fetch and verify the installation of a Helm chart from a URI that is remote HTTP/HTTPS or local. Access to this endpoint is gated by the authHandlerWithUser() middleware function. Contrary to its name, this middleware function does not verify the validity of the user's credentials. As a result, unauthenticated users can access this endpoint.
CVE-2024-6409 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel E4s and 1 more | 2025-08-30 | 7 High |
A race condition vulnerability was discovered in how signals are handled by OpenSSH's server (sshd). If a remote attacker does not authenticate within a set time period, then sshd's SIGALRM handler is called asynchronously. However, this signal handler calls various functions that are not async-signal-safe, for example, syslog(). As a consequence of a successful attack, in the worst case scenario, an attacker may be able to perform a remote code execution (RCE) as an unprivileged user running the sshd server.
CVE-2024-45775 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2025-08-30 | 5.2 Medium |
A flaw was found in grub2 where the grub_extcmd_dispatcher() function calls grub_arg_list_alloc() to allocate memory for the grub's argument list. However, it fails to check in case the memory allocation fails. Once the allocation fails, a NULL point will be processed by the parse_option() function, leading grub to crash or, in some rare scenarios, corrupt the IVT data.
CVE-2025-0750 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift | 2025-08-30 | 6.6 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in CRI-O. A path traversal issue in the log management functions (UnMountPodLogs and LinkContainerLogs) may allow an attacker with permissions to create and delete Pods to unmount arbitrary host paths, leading to node-level denial of service by unmounting critical system directories. |
