The i_zval_ptr_dtor function in Zend/zend_variables.h in PHP 7.1.5 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact by triggering crafted operations on array data structures.
CVE-2017-15906 5 Debian, Netapp, Openbsd and 2 more 23 Debian Linux, Active Iq Unified Manager, Cloud Backup and 20 more 2025-04-20 5.3 Medium
The process_open function in sftp-server.c in OpenSSH before 7.6 does not properly prevent write operations in readonly mode, which allows attackers to create zero-length files.
CVE-2016-1563 1 Netapp 1 Clustered Data Ontap 2025-04-12 N/A
NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP 8.3.1 does not properly verify X.509 certificates from TLS servers, which allows man-in-the-middle attackers to spoof servers and obtain sensitive information via a crafted certificate.
CVE-2015-7974 5 Debian, Netapp, Ntp and 2 more 9 Debian Linux, Clustered Data Ontap, Oncommand Balance and 6 more 2025-04-12 7.7 High
NTP 4.x before 4.2.8p6 and 4.3.x before 4.3.90 do not verify peer associations of symmetric keys when authenticating packets, which might allow remote attackers to conduct impersonation attacks via an arbitrary trusted key, aka a "skeleton key."
CVE-2016-3064 1 Netapp 1 Clustered Data Ontap 2025-04-12 N/A
NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP before 8.2.4P4 and 8.3.x before 8.3.2P2 allows remote authenticated users to obtain sensitive cluster and tenant information via unspecified vectors.
CVE-2024-38474 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat 9 Http Server, Clustered Data Ontap, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2025-03-25 8.1 High
Substitution encoding issue in mod_rewrite in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.59 and earlier allows attacker to execute scripts in directories permitted by the configuration but not directly reachable by any URL or source disclosure of scripts meant to only to be executed as CGI. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.60, which fixes this issue. Some RewriteRules that capture and substitute unsafely will now fail unless rewrite flag "UnsafeAllow3F" is specified.
CVE-2024-38477 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat 9 Http Server, Clustered Data Ontap, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2025-03-18 7.5 High
null pointer dereference in mod_proxy in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.59 and earlier allows an attacker to crash the server via a malicious request. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.60, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2023-23916 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 3 more 19 Debian Linux, Fedora, Curl and 16 more 2025-03-12 6.5 Medium
An allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability exists in curl <v7.88.0 based on the "chained" HTTP compression algorithms, meaning that a server response can be compressed multiple times and potentially with differentalgorithms. The number of acceptable "links" in this "decompression chain" wascapped, but the cap was implemented on a per-header basis allowing a maliciousserver to insert a virtually unlimited number of compression steps simply byusing many headers. The use of such a decompression chain could result in a "malloc bomb", making curl end up spending enormous amounts of allocated heap memory, or trying to and returning out of memory errors.
CVE-2023-23914 4 Haxx, Netapp, Redhat and 1 more 13 Curl, Active Iq Unified Manager, Clustered Data Ontap and 10 more 2025-03-12 9.1 Critical
A cleartext transmission of sensitive information vulnerability exists in curl <v7.88.0 that could cause HSTS functionality fail when multiple URLs are requested serially. Using its HSTS support, curl can be instructed to use HTTPS instead of usingan insecure clear-text HTTP step even when HTTP is provided in the URL. ThisHSTS mechanism would however surprisingly be ignored by subsequent transferswhen done on the same command line because the state would not be properlycarried on.
CVE-2024-38476 3 Apache, Netapp, Redhat 9 Http Server, Clustered Data Ontap, Enterprise Linux and 6 more 2025-02-13 9.8 Critical
Vulnerability in core of Apache HTTP Server 2.4.59 and earlier are vulnerably to information disclosure, SSRF or local script execution via backend applications whose response headers are malicious or exploitable. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.60, which fixes this issue.
CVE-2023-3107 2 Freebsd, Netapp 2 Freebsd, Clustered Data Ontap 2025-02-13 7.5 High
A set of carefully crafted ipv6 packets can trigger an integer overflow in the calculation of a fragment reassembled packet's payload length field. This allows an attacker to trigger a kernel panic, resulting in a denial of service.
CVE-2023-28321 6 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 17 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 14 more 2025-01-15 5.9 Medium
An improper certificate validation vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way it supports matching of wildcard patterns when listed as "Subject Alternative Name" in TLS server certificates. curl can be built to use its own name matching function for TLS rather than one provided by a TLS library. This private wildcard matching function would match IDN (International Domain Name) hosts incorrectly and could as a result accept patterns that otherwise should mismatch. IDN hostnames are converted to puny code before used for certificate checks. Puny coded names always start with `xn--` and should not be allowed to pattern match, but the wildcard check in curl could still check for `x*`, which would match even though the IDN name most likely contained nothing even resembling an `x`.
CVE-2023-28320 3 Apple, Haxx, Netapp 12 Macos, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 9 more 2025-01-15 5.9 Medium
A denial of service vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way libcurl provides several different backends for resolving host names, selected at build time. If it is built to use the synchronous resolver, it allows name resolves to time-out slow operations using `alarm()` and `siglongjmp()`. When doing this, libcurl used a global buffer that was not mutex protected and a multi-threaded application might therefore crash or otherwise misbehave.
CVE-2023-28319 4 Apple, Haxx, Netapp and 1 more 13 Macos, Curl, Clustered Data Ontap and 10 more 2025-01-15 7.5 High
A use after free vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way libcurl offers a feature to verify an SSH server's public key using a SHA 256 hash. When this check fails, libcurl would free the memory for the fingerprint before it returns an error message containing the (now freed) hash. This flaw risks inserting sensitive heap-based data into the error message that might be shown to users or otherwise get leaked and revealed.
CVE-2019-9517 12 Apache, Apple, Canonical and 9 more 28 Http Server, Traffic Server, Mac Os X and 25 more 2025-01-14 7.5 High
Some HTTP/2 implementations are vulnerable to unconstrained interal data buffering, potentially leading to a denial of service. The attacker opens the HTTP/2 window so the peer can send without constraint; however, they leave the TCP window closed so the peer cannot actually write (many of) the bytes on the wire. The attacker then sends a stream of requests for a large response object. Depending on how the servers queue the responses, this can consume excess memory, CPU, or both.
