CVE-2024-56326 | 2 Palletsprojects, Redhat | 15 Jinja, Ansible Automation Platform, Discovery and 12 more | 2025-09-22 | 7.8 High |
Jinja is an extensible templating engine. Prior to 3.1.5, An oversight in how the Jinja sandboxed environment detects calls to str.format allows an attacker that controls the content of a template to execute arbitrary Python code. To exploit the vulnerability, an attacker needs to control the content of a template. Whether that is the case depends on the type of application using Jinja. This vulnerability impacts users of applications which execute untrusted templates. Jinja's sandbox does catch calls to str.format and ensures they don't escape the sandbox. However, it's possible to store a reference to a malicious string's format method, then pass that to a filter that calls it. No such filters are built-in to Jinja, but could be present through custom filters in an application. After the fix, such indirect calls are also handled by the sandbox. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.5.
CVE-2025-7425 | 1 Redhat | 12 Discovery, Enterprise Linux, Insights Proxy and 9 more | 2025-09-18 | 7.8 High |
A flaw was found in libxslt where the attribute type, atype, flags are modified in a way that corrupts internal memory management. When XSLT functions, such as the key() process, result in tree fragments, this corruption prevents the proper cleanup of ID attributes. As a result, the system may access freed memory, causing crashes or enabling attackers to trigger heap corruption.
CVE-2024-9355 | 1 Redhat | 22 Amq Streams, Ansible Automation Platform, Container Native Virtualization and 19 more | 2025-09-12 | 6.5 Medium |
A vulnerability was found in Golang FIPS OpenSSL. This flaw allows a malicious user to randomly cause an uninitialized buffer length variable with a zeroed buffer to be returned in FIPS mode. It may also be possible to force a false positive match between non-equal hashes when comparing a trusted computed hmac sum to an untrusted input sum if an attacker can send a zeroed buffer in place of a pre-computed sum. It is also possible to force a derived key to be all zeros instead of an unpredictable value. This may have follow-on implications for the Go TLS stack.
CVE-2024-8445 | 1 Redhat | 3 Directory Server, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els | 2025-09-12 | 5.7 Medium |
The fix for CVE-2024-2199 in 389-ds-base was insufficient to cover all scenarios. In certain product versions, an authenticated user may cause a server crash while modifying `userPassword` using malformed input.
CVE-2024-5953 | 1 Redhat | 6 Directory Server, Directory Server E4s, Directory Server Eus and 3 more | 2025-09-12 | 5.7 Medium |
A denial of service vulnerability was found in the 389-ds-base LDAP server. This issue may allow an authenticated user to cause a server denial of service while attempting to log in with a user with a malformed hash in their password.
CVE-2023-46847 | 2 Redhat, Squid-cache | 15 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Enterprise Linux For Arm 64 and 12 more | 2025-09-12 | 8.6 High |
Squid is vulnerable to a Denial of Service, where a remote attacker can perform buffer overflow attack by writing up to 2 MB of arbitrary data to heap memory when Squid is configured to accept HTTP Digest Authentication.
CVE-2023-46846 | 2 Redhat, Squid-cache | 13 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Enterprise Linux For Arm 64 and 10 more | 2025-09-12 | 9.3 Critical |
SQUID is vulnerable to HTTP request smuggling, caused by chunked decoder lenience, allows a remote attacker to perform Request/Response smuggling past firewall and frontend security systems.
CVE-2025-48798 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more | 2025-09-12 | 7.3 High |
A flaw was found in GIMP when processing XCF image files. If a user opens one of these image files that has been specially crafted by an attacker, GIMP can be tricked into making serious memory errors, potentially leading to crashes and causing use-after-free issues.
CVE-2025-4404 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more | 2025-09-12 | 9.1 Critical |
A privilege escalation from host to domain vulnerability was found in the FreeIPA project. The FreeIPA package fails to validate the uniqueness of the `krbCanonicalName` for the admin account by default, allowing users to create services with the same canonical name as the REALM admin. When a successful attack happens, the user can retrieve a Kerberos ticket in the name of this service, containing the admin@REALM credential. This flaw allows an attacker to perform administrative tasks over the REALM, leading to access to sensitive data and sensitive data exfiltration.
CVE-2025-6019 | 1 Redhat | 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more | 2025-09-04 | 7 High |
A Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) vulnerability was found in libblockdev. Generally, the "allow_active" setting in Polkit permits a physically present user to take certain actions based on the session type. Due to the way libblockdev interacts with the udisks daemon, an "allow_active" user on a system may be able escalate to full root privileges on the target host. Normally, udisks mounts user-provided filesystem images with security flags like nosuid and nodev to prevent privilege escalation. However, a local attacker can create a specially crafted XFS image containing a SUID-root shell, then trick udisks into resizing it. This mounts their malicious filesystem with root privileges, allowing them to execute their SUID-root shell and gain complete control of the system.
CVE-2024-3596 | 5 Broadcom, Freeradius, Ietf and 2 more | 12 Brocade Sannav, Fabric Operating System, Freeradius and 9 more | 2025-09-04 | 9 Critical |
RADIUS Protocol under RFC 2865 is susceptible to forgery attacks by a local attacker who can modify any valid Response (Access-Accept, Access-Reject, or Access-Challenge) to any other response using a chosen-prefix collision attack against MD5 Response Authenticator signature.
CVE-2024-52531 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 8 Libsoup, Camel K, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2025-09-04 | 6.5 Medium |
GNOME libsoup before 3.6.1 allows a buffer overflow in applications that perform conversion to UTF-8 in soup_header_parse_param_list_strict. There is a plausible way to reach this remotely via soup_message_headers_get_content_type (e.g., an application may want to retrieve the content type of a request or response).
CVE-2024-52530 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 7 Libsoup, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2025-09-04 | 7.5 High |
GNOME libsoup before 3.6.0 allows HTTP request smuggling in some configurations because '\0' characters at the end of header names are ignored, i.e., a "Transfer-Encoding\0: chunked" header is treated the same as a "Transfer-Encoding: chunked" header.
CVE-2025-7345 | 1 Redhat | 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more | 2025-08-31 | 7.5 High |
A flaw exists in gdk‑pixbuf within the gdk_pixbuf__jpeg_image_load_increment function (io-jpeg.c) and in glib’s g_base64_encode_step (glib/gbase64.c). When processing maliciously crafted JPEG images, a heap buffer overflow can occur during Base64 encoding, allowing out-of-bounds reads from heap memory, potentially causing application crashes or arbitrary code execution.
CVE-2023-6816 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Redhat and 1 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Enterprise Linux and 10 more | 2025-08-29 | 9.8 Critical |
A flaw was found in X.Org server. Both DeviceFocusEvent and the XIQueryPointer reply contain a bit for each logical button currently down. Buttons can be arbitrarily mapped to any value up to 255, but the X.Org Server was only allocating space for the device's particular number of buttons, leading to a heap overflow if a bigger value was used.
CVE-2023-0286 | 3 Openssl, Redhat, Stormshield | 13 Openssl, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 10 more | 2025-08-27 | 7.4 High |
There is a type confusion vulnerability relating to X.400 address processing inside an X.509 GeneralName. X.400 addresses were parsed as an ASN1_STRING but the public structure definition for GENERAL_NAME incorrectly specified the type of the x400Address field as ASN1_TYPE. This field is subsequently interpreted by the OpenSSL function GENERAL_NAME_cmp as an ASN1_TYPE rather than an ASN1_STRING. When CRL checking is enabled (i.e. the application sets the X509_V_FLAG_CRL_CHECK flag), this vulnerability may allow an attacker to pass arbitrary pointers to a memcmp call, enabling them to read memory contents or enact a denial of service. In most cases, the attack requires the attacker to provide both the certificate chain and CRL, neither of which need to have a valid signature. If the attacker only controls one of these inputs, the other input must already contain an X.400 address as a CRL distribution point, which is uncommon. As such, this vulnerability is most likely to only affect applications which have implemented their own functionality for retrieving CRLs over a network.
CVE-2024-21145 | 3 Netapp, Oracle, Redhat | 15 Bluexp, Cloud Insights Storage Workload Security Agent, Oncommand Insight and 12 more | 2025-08-26 | 4.8 Medium |
