CVE-2017-12616 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 2 Tomcat, Jboss Enterprise Web Server | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
When using a VirtualDirContext with Apache Tomcat 7.0.0 to 7.0.80 it was possible to bypass security constraints and/or view the source code of JSPs for resources served by the VirtualDirContext using a specially crafted request.
CVE-2016-8610 | 7 Debian, Fujitsu, Netapp and 4 more | 55 Debian Linux, M10-1, M10-1 Firmware and 52 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
A denial of service flaw was found in OpenSSL 0.9.8, 1.0.1, 1.0.2 through 1.0.2h, and 1.1.0 in the way the TLS/SSL protocol defined processing of ALERT packets during a connection handshake. A remote attacker could use this flaw to make a TLS/SSL server consume an excessive amount of CPU and fail to accept connections from other clients.
CVE-2017-5664 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 4 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
The error page mechanism of the Java Servlet Specification requires that, when an error occurs and an error page is configured for the error that occurred, the original request and response are forwarded to the error page. This means that the request is presented to the error page with the original HTTP method. If the error page is a static file, expected behaviour is to serve content of the file as if processing a GET request, regardless of the actual HTTP method. The Default Servlet in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M20, 8.5.0 to 8.5.14, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.43 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.77 did not do this. Depending on the original request this could lead to unexpected and undesirable results for static error pages including, if the DefaultServlet is configured to permit writes, the replacement or removal of the custom error page. Notes for other user provided error pages: (1) Unless explicitly coded otherwise, JSPs ignore the HTTP method. JSPs used as error pages must must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method. (2) By default, the response generated by a Servlet does depend on the HTTP method. Custom Servlets used as error pages must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method.
CVE-2016-0762 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 16 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 13 more | 2025-04-20 | 5.9 Medium |
The Realm implementations in Apache Tomcat versions 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M9, 8.5.0 to 8.5.4, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.36, 7.0.0 to 7.0.70 and 6.0.0 to 6.0.45 did not process the supplied password if the supplied user name did not exist. This made a timing attack possible to determine valid user names. Note that the default configuration includes the LockOutRealm which makes exploitation of this vulnerability harder.
CVE-2016-5018 | 6 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 16 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 13 more | 2025-04-20 | 9.1 Critical |

Therefore, it was possible for a web application to access any global JNDI resource whether an explicit ResourceLink had been configured or not.
CVE-2017-9788 | 6 Apache, Apple, Debian and 3 more | 18 Http Server, Mac Os X, Debian Linux and 15 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
In Apache httpd before 2.2.34 and 2.4.x before 2.4.27, the value placeholder in [Proxy-]Authorization headers of type 'Digest' was not initialized or reset before or between successive key=value assignments by mod_auth_digest. Providing an initial key with no '=' assignment could reflect the stale value of uninitialized pool memory used by the prior request, leading to leakage of potentially confidential information, and a segfault in other cases resulting in denial of service.
CVE-2017-9798 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 8 Http Server, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 5 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
Apache httpd allows remote attackers to read secret data from process memory if the Limit directive can be set in a user's .htaccess file, or if httpd.conf has certain misconfigurations, aka Optionsbleed. This affects the Apache HTTP Server through 2.2.34 and 2.4.x through 2.4.27. The attacker sends an unauthenticated OPTIONS HTTP request when attempting to read secret data. This is a use-after-free issue and thus secret data is not always sent, and the specific data depends on many factors including configuration. Exploitation with .htaccess can be blocked with a patch to the ap_limit_section function in server/core.c.
CVE-2015-5183 | 1 Redhat | 6 Amq, Amq Broker, Jboss A-mq and 3 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
Console: HTTPOnly and Secure attributes not set on cookies in Red Hat AMQ.
CVE-2017-5645 | 4 Apache, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 86 Log4j, Oncommand Api Services, Oncommand Insight and 83 more | 2025-04-20 | 9.8 Critical |
In Apache Log4j 2.x before 2.8.2, when using the TCP socket server or UDP socket server to receive serialized log events from another application, a specially crafted binary payload can be sent that, when deserialized, can execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2017-12613 | 3 Apache, Debian, Redhat | 17 Portable Runtime, Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux and 14 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.1 High |
When apr_time_exp*() or apr_os_exp_time*() functions are invoked with an invalid month field value in Apache Portable Runtime APR 1.6.2 and prior, out of bounds memory may be accessed in converting this value to an apr_time_exp_t value, potentially revealing the contents of a different static heap value or resulting in program termination, and may represent an information disclosure or denial of service vulnerability to applications which call these APR functions with unvalidated external input.
CVE-2017-7674 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 3 Tomcat, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Enterprise Web Server | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
The CORS Filter in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M21, 8.5.0 to 8.5.15, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.44 and 7.0.41 to 7.0.78 did not add an HTTP Vary header indicating that the response varies depending on Origin. This permitted client and server side cache poisoning in some circumstances.
CVE-2015-8317 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Hp and 2 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Icewall Federation Agent and 8 more | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
The xmlParseXMLDecl function in parser.c in libxml2 before 2.9.3 allows context-dependent attackers to obtain sensitive information via an (1) unterminated encoding value or (2) incomplete XML declaration in XML data, which triggers an out-of-bounds heap read.
CVE-2015-5351 | 4 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 1 more | 5 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 2 more | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
The (1) Manager and (2) Host Manager applications in Apache Tomcat 7.x before 7.0.68, 8.x before 8.0.31, and 9.x before 9.0.0.M2 establish sessions and send CSRF tokens for arbitrary new requests, which allows remote attackers to bypass a CSRF protection mechanism by using a token.
CVE-2015-8241 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Hp and 2 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Icewall Federation Agent and 8 more | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
The xmlNextChar function in libxml2 2.9.2 does not properly check the state, which allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (heap-based buffer over-read and application crash) or obtain sensitive information via crafted XML data.
CVE-2015-8035 | 5 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 10 Iphone Os, Mac Os X, Tvos and 7 more | 2025-04-12 | N/A |
The xz_decomp function in xzlib.c in libxml2 2.9.1 does not properly detect compression errors, which allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (process hang) via crafted XML data.
