CVE-2023-25690 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 8 Http Server, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 5 more | 2025-02-13 | 9.8 Critical |
Some mod_proxy configurations on Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.55 allow a HTTP Request Smuggling attack. Configurations are affected when mod_proxy is enabled along with some form of RewriteRule or ProxyPassMatch in which a non-specific pattern matches some portion of the user-supplied request-target (URL) data and is then re-inserted into the proxied request-target using variable substitution. For example, something like: RewriteEngine on RewriteRule "^/here/(.*)" "http://example.com:8080/elsewhere?$1"; [P] ProxyPassReverse /here/ http://example.com:8080/ Request splitting/smuggling could result in bypass of access controls in the proxy server, proxying unintended URLs to existing origin servers, and cache poisoning. Users are recommended to update to at least version 2.4.56 of Apache HTTP Server.
CVE-2023-20593 | 4 Amd, Debian, Redhat and 1 more | 147 Athlon Gold 7220u, Athlon Gold 7220u Firmware, Epyc 7232p and 144 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.5 Medium |

CVE-2023-1999 | 2 Redhat, Webmproject | 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.3 Medium |
There exists a use after free/double free in libwebp. An attacker can use the ApplyFiltersAndEncode() function and loop through to free best.bw and assign best = trial pointer. The second loop will then return 0 because of an Out of memory error in VP8 encoder, the pointer is still assigned to trial and the AddressSanitizer will attempt a double free.
CVE-2023-1829 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 7 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 4 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.8 High |
A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux Kernel traffic control index filter (tcindex) can be exploited to achieve local privilege escalation. The tcindex_delete function which does not properly deactivate filters in case of a perfect hashes while deleting the underlying structure which can later lead to double freeing the structure. A local attacker user can use this vulnerability to elevate its privileges to root. We recommend upgrading past commit 8c710f75256bb3cf05ac7b1672c82b92c43f3d28.
CVE-2022-25147 | 2 Apache, Redhat | 7 Portable Runtime Utility, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 4 more | 2025-02-13 | 6.5 Medium |
Integer Overflow or Wraparound vulnerability in apr_base64 functions of Apache Portable Runtime Utility (APR-util) allows an attacker to write beyond bounds of a buffer. This issue affects Apache Portable Runtime Utility (APR-util) 1.6.1 and prior versions.
CVE-2023-46728 | 2 Redhat, Squid-cache | 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
Squid is a caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. Due to a NULL pointer dereference bug Squid is vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against Squid's Gopher gateway. The gopher protocol is always available and enabled in Squid prior to Squid 6.0.1. Responses triggering this bug are possible to be received from any gopher server, even those without malicious intent. Gopher support has been removed in Squid version 6.0.1. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should reject all gopher URL requests.
CVE-2023-45288 | 3 Go Standard Library, Golang, Redhat | 33 Net\/http, Http2, Acm and 30 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
An attacker may cause an HTTP/2 endpoint to read arbitrary amounts of header data by sending an excessive number of CONTINUATION frames. Maintaining HPACK state requires parsing and processing all HEADERS and CONTINUATION frames on a connection. When a request's headers exceed MaxHeaderBytes, no memory is allocated to store the excess headers, but they are still parsed. This permits an attacker to cause an HTTP/2 endpoint to read arbitrary amounts of header data, all associated with a request which is going to be rejected. These headers can include Huffman-encoded data which is significantly more expensive for the receiver to decode than for an attacker to send. The fix sets a limit on the amount of excess header frames we will process before closing a connection.
CVE-2023-43804 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Python and 1 more | 12 Debian Linux, Fedora, Urllib3 and 9 more | 2025-02-13 | 5.9 Medium |
urllib3 is a user-friendly HTTP client library for Python. urllib3 doesn't treat the `Cookie` HTTP header special or provide any helpers for managing cookies over HTTP, that is the responsibility of the user. However, it is possible for a user to specify a `Cookie` header and unknowingly leak information via HTTP redirects to a different origin if that user doesn't disable redirects explicitly. This issue has been patched in urllib3 version 1.26.17 or 2.0.5.
CVE-2023-42917 | 5 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 12 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 9 more | 2025-02-13 | 8.8 High |
A memory corruption vulnerability was addressed with improved locking. This issue is fixed in iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2, macOS Sonoma 14.1.2, Safari 17.1.2. Processing web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited against versions of iOS before iOS 16.7.1.

CVE-2023-39325 | 4 Fedoraproject, Golang, Netapp and 1 more | 53 Fedora, Go, Http2 and 50 more | 2025-02-13 | 7.5 High |
A malicious HTTP/2 client which rapidly creates requests and immediately resets them can cause excessive server resource consumption. While the total number of requests is bounded by the http2.Server.MaxConcurrentStreams setting, resetting an in-progress request allows the attacker to create a new request while the existing one is still executing. With the fix applied, HTTP/2 servers now bound the number of simultaneously executing handler goroutines to the stream concurrency limit (MaxConcurrentStreams). New requests arriving when at the limit (which can only happen after the client has reset an existing, in-flight request) will be queued until a handler exits. If the request queue grows too large, the server will terminate the connection. This issue is also fixed in golang.org/x/net/http2 for users manually configuring HTTP/2. The default stream concurrency limit is 250 streams (requests) per HTTP/2 connection. This value may be adjusted using the golang.org/x/net/http2 package; see the Server.MaxConcurrentStreams setting and the ConfigureServer function.
CVE-2023-37464 | 2 Cisco, Redhat | 6 Cjose, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 3 more | 2025-02-13 | 8.6 High |
OpenIDC/cjose is a C library implementing the Javascript Object Signing and Encryption (JOSE). The AES GCM decryption routine incorrectly uses the Tag length from the actual Authentication Tag provided in the JWE. The spec says that a fixed length of 16 octets must be applied. Therefore this bug allows an attacker to provide a truncated Authentication Tag and to modify the JWE accordingly. Users should upgrade to a version >= 0.6.2.2. Users unable to upgrade should avoid using AES GCM encryption and replace it with another encryption algorithm (e.g. AES CBC). |
