CVE-2026-25547 1 Isaacs 1 Brace-expansion 2026-02-05 N/A
@isaacs/brace-expansion is a hybrid CJS/ESM TypeScript fork of brace-expansion. Prior to version 5.0.1, @isaacs/brace-expansion is vulnerable to a denial of service (DoS) issue caused by unbounded brace range expansion. When an attacker provides a pattern containing repeated numeric brace ranges, the library attempts to eagerly generate every possible combination synchronously. Because the expansion grows exponentially, even a small input can consume excessive CPU and memory and may crash the Node.js process. This issue has been patched in version 5.0.1.
CVE-2026-25579 1 Navidrome 1 Navidrome 2026-02-05 N/A
Navidrome is an open source web-based music collection server and streamer. Prior to version 0.60.0, authenticated users can crash the Navidrome server by supplying an excessively large size parameter to /rest/getCoverArt or to a shared-image URL (/share/img/<token>). When processing such requests, the server attempts to create an extremely large resized image, causing uncontrolled memory growth. This triggers the Linux OOM killer, terminates the Navidrome process, and results in a full service outage. If the system has sufficient memory and survives the allocation, Navidrome then writes these extremely large resized images into its cache directory, allowing an attacker to rapidly exhaust server disk space as well. This issue has been patched in version 0.60.0.
CVE-2025-11730 1 Zyxel 4 Atp Series Firmware, Usg20(w)-vpn Series Firmware, Usg Flex 50(w) Series Firmware and 1 more 2026-02-05 7.2 High

CVE-2026-23087 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-05 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: xen: scsiback: Fix potential memory leak in scsiback_remove() Memory allocated for struct vscsiblk_info in scsiback_probe() is not freed in scsiback_remove() leading to potential memory leaks on remove, as well as in the scsiback_probe() error paths. Fix that by freeing it in scsiback_remove().
CVE-2026-23088 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Fix crash on synthetic stacktrace field usage When creating a synthetic event based on an existing synthetic event that had a stacktrace field and the new synthetic event used that field a kernel crash occurred: ~# cd /sys/kernel/tracing ~# echo 's:stack unsigned long stack[];' > dynamic_events ~# echo 'hist:keys=prev_pid:s0=common_stacktrace if prev_state & 3' >> events/sched/sched_switch/trigger ~# echo 'hist:keys=next_pid:s1=$s0:onmatch(sched.sched_switch).trace(stack,$s1)' >> events/sched/sched_switch/trigger The above creates a synthetic event that takes a stacktrace when a task schedules out in a non-running state and passes that stacktrace to the sched_switch event when that task schedules back in. It triggers the "stack" synthetic event that has a stacktrace as its field (called "stack"). ~# echo 's:syscall_stack s64 id; unsigned long stack[];' >> dynamic_events ~# echo 'hist:keys=common_pid:s2=stack' >> events/synthetic/stack/trigger ~# echo 'hist:keys=common_pid:s3=$s2,i0=id:onmatch(synthetic.stack).trace(syscall_stack,$i0,$s3)' >> events/raw_syscalls/sys_exit/trigger The above makes another synthetic event called "syscall_stack" that attaches the first synthetic event (stack) to the sys_exit trace event and records the stacktrace from the stack event with the id of the system call that is exiting. When enabling this event (or using it in a historgram): ~# echo 1 > events/synthetic/syscall_stack/enable Produces a kernel crash! In trace_event_raw_event_synth() the event is field is still treated as a dynamic array, but the retrieval of the data is considered a normal field, and the reference is just the meta data: // Meta data is retrieved instead of a dynamic array ---truncated---
CVE-2026-23096 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-05 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: uacce: fix cdev handling in the cleanup path When cdev_device_add fails, it internally releases the cdev memory, and if cdev_device_del is then executed, it will cause a hang error. To fix it, we check the return value of cdev_device_add() and clear uacce->cdev to avoid calling cdev_device_del in the uacce_remove.
CVE-2026-23109 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-02-05 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/writeback: skip AS_NO_DATA_INTEGRITY mappings in wait_sb_inodes() Above the while() loop in wait_sb_inodes(), we document that we must wait for all pages under writeback for data integrity. Consequently, if a mapping, like fuse, traditionally does not have data integrity semantics, there is no need to wait at all; we can simply skip these inodes. This restores fuse back to prior behavior where syncs are no-ops. This fixes a user regression where if a system is running a faulty fuse server that does not reply to issued write requests, this causes wait_sb_inodes() to wait forever.
CVE-2026-24884 1 Node-modules 1 Compressing 2026-02-05 8.4 High
Compressing is a compressing and uncompressing lib for node. In version 2.0.0 and 1.10.3 and prior, Compressing extracts TAR archives while restoring symbolic links without validating their targets. By embedding symlinks that resolve outside the intended extraction directory, an attacker can cause subsequent file entries to be written to arbitrary locations on the host file system. Depending on the extractor’s handling of existing files, this behavior may allow overwriting sensitive files or creating new files in security-critical locations. This issue has been patched in versions 1.10.4 and 2.0.1.
CVE-2026-25505 1 Maziggy 1 Bambuddy 2026-02-05 9.8 Critical
