Buffer overflow vulnerability in libsolv 2020-12-13 via the Solver * testcase_read(Pool *pool, FILE *fp, const char *testcase, Queue *job, char **resultp, int *resultflagsp function at src/testcase.c: line 2334, which could cause a denial of service
CVE-2021-37137 | 6 Debian, Netapp, Netty and 3 more | 24 Debian Linux, Oncommand Insight, Netty and 21 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
The Snappy frame decoder function doesn't restrict the chunk length which may lead to excessive memory usage. Beside this it also may buffer reserved skippable chunks until the whole chunk was received which may lead to excessive memory usage as well. This vulnerability can be triggered by supplying malicious input that decompresses to a very big size (via a network stream or a file) or by sending a huge skippable chunk.
CVE-2021-37136 | 6 Debian, Netapp, Netty and 3 more | 31 Debian Linux, Oncommand Insight, Netty and 28 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
The Bzip2 decompression decoder function doesn't allow setting size restrictions on the decompressed output data (which affects the allocation size used during decompression). All users of Bzip2Decoder are affected. The malicious input can trigger an OOME and so a DoS attack

CVE-2021-33571 | 3 Djangoproject, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 5 Django, Fedora, Openstack and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
In Django 2.2 before 2.2.24, 3.x before 3.1.12, and 3.2 before 3.2.4, URLValidator, validate_ipv4_address, and validate_ipv46_address do not prohibit leading zero characters in octal literals. This may allow a bypass of access control that is based on IP addresses. (validate_ipv4_address and validate_ipv46_address are unaffected with Python 3.9.5+..) .
CVE-2021-33503 | 4 Fedoraproject, Oracle, Python and 1 more | 10 Fedora, Enterprise Manager Ops Center, Instantis Enterprisetrack and 7 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
An issue was discovered in urllib3 before 1.26.5. When provided with a URL containing many @ characters in the authority component, the authority regular expression exhibits catastrophic backtracking, causing a denial of service if a URL were passed as a parameter or redirected to via an HTTP redirect.
CVE-2021-33203 | 3 Djangoproject, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 5 Django, Fedora, Openstack and 2 more | 2024-11-21 | 4.9 Medium |
Django before 2.2.24, 3.x before 3.1.12, and 3.2.x before 3.2.4 has a potential directory traversal via django.contrib.admindocs. Staff members could use the TemplateDetailView view to check the existence of arbitrary files. Additionally, if (and only if) the default admindocs templates have been customized by application developers to also show file contents, then not only the existence but also the file contents would have been exposed. In other words, there is directory traversal outside of the template root directories.
CVE-2021-32839 | 2 Redhat, Sqlparse Project | 3 Satellite, Satellite Capsule, Sqlparse | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
sqlparse is a non-validating SQL parser module for Python. In sqlparse versions 0.4.0 and 0.4.1 there is a regular Expression Denial of Service in sqlparse vulnerability. The regular expression may cause exponential backtracking on strings containing many repetitions of '\r\n' in SQL comments. Only the formatting feature that removes comments from SQL statements is affected by this regular expression. As a workaround don't use the sqlformat.format function with keyword strip_comments=True or the --strip-comments command line flag when using the sqlformat command line tool. The issues has been fixed in sqlparse 0.4.2.
CVE-2021-32740 | 3 Addressable Project, Fedoraproject, Redhat | 4 Addressable, Fedora, Logging and 1 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Addressable is an alternative implementation to the URI implementation that is part of Ruby's standard library. An uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability exists after version 2.3.0 through version 2.7.0. Within the URI template implementation in Addressable, a maliciously crafted template may result in uncontrolled resource consumption, leading to denial of service when matched against a URI. In typical usage, templates would not normally be read from untrusted user input, but nonetheless, no previous security advisory for Addressable has cautioned against doing this. Users of the parsing capabilities in Addressable but not the URI template capabilities are unaffected. The vulnerability is patched in version 2.8.0. As a workaround, only create Template objects from trusted sources that have been validated not to produce catastrophic backtracking.
CVE-2021-31542 | 4 Debian, Djangoproject, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Django, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
In Django 2.2 before 2.2.21, 3.1 before 3.1.9, and 3.2 before 3.2.1, MultiPartParser, UploadedFile, and FieldFile allowed directory traversal via uploaded files with suitably crafted file names.
CVE-2021-30151 | 3 Contribsys, Debian, Redhat | 3 Sidekiq, Debian Linux, Satellite | 2024-11-21 | 6.1 Medium |
Sidekiq through 5.1.3 and 6.x through 6.2.0 allows XSS via the queue name of the live-poll feature when Internet Explorer is used.
CVE-2021-29509 | 3 Debian, Puma, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Puma, Satellite | 2024-11-21 | 7.5 High |
Puma is a concurrent HTTP 1.1 server for Ruby/Rack applications. The fix for CVE-2019-16770 was incomplete. The original fix only protected existing connections that had already been accepted from having their requests starved by greedy persistent-connections saturating all threads in the same process. However, new connections may still be starved by greedy persistent-connections saturating all threads in all processes in the cluster. A `puma` server which received more concurrent `keep-alive` connections than the server had threads in its threadpool would service only a subset of connections, denying service to the unserved connections. This problem has been fixed in `puma` 4.3.8 and 5.3.1. Setting `queue_requests false` also fixes the issue. This is not advised when using `puma` without a reverse proxy, such as `nginx` or `apache`, because you will open yourself to slow client attacks (e.g. slowloris). The fix is very small and a git patch is available for those using unsupported versions of Puma.
CVE-2021-28658 | 4 Debian, Djangoproject, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 6 Debian Linux, Django, Fedora and 3 more | 2024-11-21 | 5.3 Medium |
In Django 2.2 before 2.2.20, 3.0 before 3.0.14, and 3.1 before 3.1.8, MultiPartParser allowed directory traversal via uploaded files with suitably crafted file names. Built-in upload handlers were not affected by this vulnerability.
CVE-2021-27025 | 3 Fedoraproject, Puppet, Redhat | 8 Fedora, Puppet, Puppet Agent and 5 more | 2024-11-21 | 6.5 Medium |
A flaw was discovered in Puppet Agent where the agent may silently ignore Augeas settings or may be vulnerable to a Denial of Service condition prior to the first 'pluginsync'.
CVE-2021-27023 | 3 Fedoraproject, Puppet, Redhat | 7 Fedora, Puppet Agent, Puppet Enterprise and 4 more | 2024-11-21 | 9.8 Critical |
A flaw was discovered in Puppet Agent and Puppet Server that may result in a leak of HTTP credentials when following HTTP redirects to a different host. This is similar to CVE-2018-1000007 |
