| CVE-2025-7195 | 1 Redhat | 13 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Apicurio Registry and 10 more | 2026-01-15 | 5.2 Medium |
| Early versions of Operator-SDK provided an insecure method to allow operator containers to run in environments that used a random UID. Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 provided a script, user_setup, which modifies the permissions of the /etc/passwd file to 664 during build time. Developers who used Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 to scaffold their operator may still be impacted by this if the insecure user_setup script is still being used to build new container images. In affected images, the /etc/passwd file is created during build time with group-writable permissions and a group ownership of root (gid=0). An attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, may be able to leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container. | ||||
| CVE-2025-46397 | 2 Fig2dev Project, Redhat | 3 Fig2dev, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2026-01-15 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in xfig. This vulnerability allows possible code execution via local input manipulation via bezier_spline function. | ||||
| CVE-2026-0992 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Openshift | 2026-01-15 | 2.9 Low |
| A flaw was found in the libxml2 library. This uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability occurs when processing XML catalogs that contain repeated <nextCatalog> elements pointing to the same downstream catalog. A remote attacker can exploit this by supplying crafted catalogs, causing the parser to redundantly traverse catalog chains. This leads to excessive CPU consumption and degrades application availability, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-0989 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Openshift | 2026-01-15 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was identified in the RelaxNG parser of libxml2 related to how external schema inclusions are handled. The parser does not enforce a limit on inclusion depth when resolving nested <include> directives. Specially crafted or overly complex schemas can cause excessive recursion during parsing. This may lead to stack exhaustion and application crashes, creating a denial-of-service risk. | ||||
| CVE-2026-0990 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Openshift | 2026-01-15 | 5.9 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libxml2, an XML parsing library. This uncontrolled recursion vulnerability occurs in the xmlCatalogXMLResolveURI function when an XML catalog contains a delegate URI entry that references itself. A remote attacker could exploit this configuration-dependent issue by providing a specially crafted XML catalog, leading to infinite recursion and call stack exhaustion. This ultimately results in a segmentation fault, causing a Denial of Service (DoS) by crashing affected applications. | ||||
| CVE-2026-0976 | 1 Redhat | 3 Build Keycloak, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform, Jbosseapxp | 2026-01-15 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak. This improper input validation vulnerability occurs because Keycloak accepts RFC-compliant matrix parameters in URL path segments, while common reverse proxy configurations may ignore or mishandle them. A remote attacker can craft requests to mask path segments, potentially bypassing proxy-level path filtering. This could expose administrative or sensitive endpoints that operators believe are not externally reachable. | ||||
| CVE-2025-4953 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-01-15 | 7.4 High |
| A flaw was found in Podman. In a Containerfile or Podman, data written to RUN --mount=type=bind mounts during the podman build is not discarded. This issue can lead to files created within the container appearing in the temporary build context directory on the host, leaving the created files accessible. | ||||
| CVE-2025-11561 | 1 Redhat | 9 Ceph Storage, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 6 more | 2026-01-15 | 8.8 High |
| A flaw was found in the integration of Active Directory and the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD) on Linux systems. In default configurations, the Kerberos local authentication plugin (sssd_krb5_localauth_plugin) is enabled, but a fallback to the an2ln plugin is possible. This fallback allows an attacker with permission to modify certain AD attributes (such as userPrincipalName or samAccountName) to impersonate privileged users, potentially resulting in unauthorized access or privilege escalation on domain-joined Linux hosts. | ||||
| CVE-2025-61662 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 3 Grub2, Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-01-15 | 4.9 Medium |
| A Use-After-Free vulnerability has been discovered in GRUB's gettext module. This flaw stems from a programming error where the gettext command remains registered in memory after its module is unloaded. An attacker can exploit this condition by invoking the orphaned command, causing the application to access a memory location that is no longer valid. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause grub to crash, leading to a Denial of Service. Possible data integrity or confidentiality compromise is not discarded. | ||||
| CVE-2025-14242 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-01-14 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in vsftpd. This vulnerability allows a denial of service (DoS) via an integer overflow in the ls command parameter parsing, triggered by a remote, authenticated attacker sending a crafted STAT command with a specific byte sequence. | ||||
| CVE-2025-12548 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift Devspaces | 2026-01-14 | 9 Critical |
| A flaw was found in Eclipse Che che-machine-exec. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated remote arbitrary command execution and secret exfiltration (SSH keys, tokens, etc.) from other users' Developer Workspace containers, via an unauthenticated JSON-RPC / websocket API exposed on TCP port 3333. | ||||
| CVE-2026-0716 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-01-14 | 4.8 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libsoup’s WebSocket frame processing when handling incoming messages. If a non-default configuration is used where the maximum incoming payload size is unset, the library may read memory outside the intended bounds. This can cause unintended memory exposure or a crash. Applications using libsoup’s WebSocket support with this configuration may be impacted. | ||||
| CVE-2024-41073 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-01-14 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: avoid double free special payload If a discard request needs to be retried, and that retry may fail before a new special payload is added, a double free will result. Clear the RQF_SPECIAL_LOAD when the request is cleaned. | ||||
| CVE-2025-6020 | 1 Redhat | 15 Cert Manager, Confidential Compute Attestation, Discovery and 12 more | 2026-01-14 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in linux-pam. The module pam_namespace may use access user-controlled paths without proper protection, allowing local users to elevate their privileges to root via multiple symlink attacks and race conditions. | ||||
| CVE-2025-4598 | 5 Debian, Linux, Oracle and 2 more | 10 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Linux and 7 more | 2026-01-13 | 4.7 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in systemd-coredump. This flaw allows an attacker to force a SUID process to crash and replace it with a non-SUID binary to access the original's privileged process coredump, allowing the attacker to read sensitive data, such as /etc/shadow content, loaded by the original process. A SUID binary or process has a special type of permission, which allows the process to run with the file owner's permissions, regardless of the user executing the binary. This allows the process to access more restricted data than unprivileged users or processes would be able to. An attacker can leverage this flaw by forcing a SUID process to crash and force the Linux kernel to recycle the process PID before systemd-coredump can analyze the /proc/pid/auxv file. If the attacker wins the race condition, they gain access to the original's SUID process coredump file. They can read sensitive content loaded into memory by the original binary, affecting data confidentiality. | ||||
| CVE-2024-3884 | 1 Redhat | 17 Amq Streams, Apache Camel Hawtio, Build Keycloak and 14 more | 2026-01-13 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in Undertow that can cause remote denial of service attacks. When the server uses the FormEncodedDataDefinition.doParse(StreamSourceChannel) method to parse large form data encoding with application/x-www-form-urlencoded, the method will cause an OutOfMemory issue. This flaw allows unauthorized users to cause a remote denial of service (DoS) attack. | ||||
| CVE-2024-11831 | 1 Redhat | 34 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Ansible Automation Platform and 31 more | 2026-01-13 | 5.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in npm-serialize-javascript. The vulnerability occurs because the serialize-javascript module does not properly sanitize certain inputs, such as regex or other JavaScript object types, allowing an attacker to inject malicious code. This code could be executed when deserialized by a web browser, causing Cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. This issue is critical in environments where serialized data is sent to web clients, potentially compromising the security of the website or web application using this package. | ||||
| CVE-2024-3727 | 1 Redhat | 18 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Ansible Automation Platform and 15 more | 2026-01-13 | 8.3 High |
| A flaw was found in the github.com/containers/image library. This flaw allows attackers to trigger unexpected authenticated registry accesses on behalf of a victim user, causing resource exhaustion, local path traversal, and other attacks. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5318 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 11 Libssh, Ai Inference Server, Enterprise Linux and 8 more | 2026-01-13 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in the libssh library in versions less than 0.11.2. An out-of-bounds read can be triggered in the sftp_handle function due to an incorrect comparison check that permits the function to access memory beyond the valid handle list and to return an invalid pointer, which is used in further processing. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker to potentially read unintended memory regions, exposing sensitive information or affect service behavior. | ||||
| CVE-2025-2842 | 1 Redhat | 1 Openshift Distributed Tracing | 2026-01-13 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Tempo Operator. When the Jaeger UI Monitor Tab functionality is enabled in a Tempo instance managed by the Tempo Operator, the Operator creates a ClusterRoleBinding for the Service Account of the Tempo instance to grant the cluster-monitoring-view ClusterRole. This can be exploited if a user has 'create' permissions on TempoStack and 'get' permissions on Secret in a namespace (for example, a user has ClusterAdmin permissions for a specific namespace), as the user can read the token of the Tempo service account and therefore has access to see all cluster metrics. | ||||
